One of pop musics first supergroups, Mike & The Mechanics make their first area appearance in 30 Years at their Capitol Theatre debut! Even inside Genesis, Mike Rutherford’s forte has always been his melodic songwriting. With the Mike & the Mechanics, founded by Rutherford and currently consisting of Anthony Drennan, Gary Wallis, Tim Howar, Luke Juby, and Andrew Roachford, he managed to find a further way to express himself working with other composers and different teams. Since 1985, they have released seven albums, selling more than 10 million records, launching many hit singles such as Silent Running (On Dangerous Ground), All I Need Is a Miracle, Word of Mouth, Over My Shoulder and The Living Years and touring worldwide with a two frontmen led band. Mike + The Mechanics’ brand new album Let Me Fly is out now.
