Country music legend, prolific songwriter and actor Kris Kristofferson makes his way to Clearwater for his Capitol Theatre debut. Kristofferson is famed as a solo artist and as part of the country supergroup The Highwaymen, which also included Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, and Willie Nelson. His songs have been covered by Elvis Presley, Janis Joplin, Johnny Cash and many others. He has worked as an actor in A Star Is Born and the Blade movies. He was awarded the GRAMMY® Lifetime Achievement Award in 2014. His catalog of music includes the hit songs Help Me Make It Through The Night, Me And Bobby McGee, Sunday Mornin’ Coming Down, Loving Her Was Easier Than Anything I’ll Ever Do Again and The Taker.
