Legendary Canadian singer-songwriter Gordon Lightfoot returns to the Capitol Theatre after his sold-out performance in 2015 and 2017! He has achieved international success in folk, folk-rock and country music and has been credited for helping define the folk-pop sound of the 1960s and 1970s. Lightfoot is best known for songs such as If You Could Read My Mind, Sundown and of course The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald as well as the iconic Canadian Railway Trilogy. His songs have been recorded by some of the world’s most renowned recording artists, including Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Hank Williams Jr., Neil Young and Bob Dylan. In June of 2012, he was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame.
