When I was seventeen, I came across this quote, and was moved to take a risk and change the course of my life. It inspired me to leave my well-laid path of becoming a doctor in Turkey, and pursue my true love in life, music. See to me, this quote embodies the very essence of what it means to follow your dreams. Despite the risks associated with becoming a full-time musician, I knew that where passion and love meet with making a living, true magic can happen. My deep-rooted love for the art of music and my determination to provide a life for myself with this love is what gave me the courage to live dangerously. While it has been quite a journey since I was seventeen to get where I am today, I would take that bet on myself again and do it all over again without hesitation. I have been so fortunate to be able share my greatest passion in life with my fans.

I would like to thank God, my family, and my friends for always believing in me, and for all the support they have given me. Their continuous enthusiasm keeps me moving forward, and on the right track. Life is all about balance; And, while I take the time to enjoy my life to the fullest, my dream keeps me dedicated to the craft, and I work hard to make those dreams come true.

May we all strive to live a little more dangerously, and leave the safe harbor to follow our dreams so that we can revel in the fruitfulness of life. You’re strong enough to overcome anything, so believe in yourself and your talents.
